Bacca’s agent plays down Roma rumours
The Colombian striker had been linked with swapping the rossoneri with the giallorossi in the next transfer window amid AC Milan’s interest for Serie A leading scorer Edin Dzeko.
Barila has released an interview with romanews.eu denying that the former Sevilla striker is leaving the San Siro in the incoming transfer window.
“I can say that Bacca is happy at AC Milan”, Barila told the Italian website.
“He’s pleased with how things are going at the club right now”
Bacca, 30, has six goals and one assist in 12 games so far this season. He moved to AC Milan in a €30 million deal in summer 2015 scoring 18 goals in his first season at the club.
Dzeko, on the other hand, struggled in his first spell at AS Roma having only scored 10 goals in 39 games. The former Man City man has 12 in 17 appearances so far this season, but he’s not heading to AC Milan in exchange for Carlos Bacca.
