Bacca on transfer speculation: 'You never know, I'm happy at Milan'
"My mind is on the present" Bacca told our correspondent at the Gentleman Fairplay Award "You never know about the future, it's in God's hands".
Bacca has had a good season overall, his 16 goals a good return for AC Milan's €30 million investment. His form is in a bit of a trough at the moment, with the 29-year-old cutting a lonely, passive figure in attack. Even his recent strike against Frosinone came in a game in which Bacca wasted a number of chances, and hardly looked fresh.
The former Sevilla man was, however, adamant that he was happy in Milan.
"I'm happy here, let's think about the end of the season before going into this. When we get there, I'll speak with my agent and Milan, and we'll see".
Asked about whether playing in Europe was key to him remaining, the Colombian's denial was emphatic: "No, I came here when I could have played Champions League football with Sevilla".
Good point!
