Milan, Bacca-Montella rift? PSG look on with interest
Milan return to winning ways after a hard-fought 1-0 home win over Pescara this afternoon thanks to a free-kick from Bonaventura. But the real story developing after the final whistle is the reported rift between Colombian striker Carlos Bacca and coach Vincenzo Montella.
The 30-year-old has failed to find the net since October 2 and when his boss decided to substitute him with five minutes to go today, Bacca aimed an obscene comment towards his coach before throwing his jacket at the bench in disgust.
RUMOURS FROM PARIS:
A negative moment in the career of Bacca perhaps, but in the meantime an old friend may look upon this latest failure to find the net as an opportunity to re-unite with the striker he had at Sevilla. We are talking of course, about Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery. The player’s agent has recently cast doubt on his client’s future in Milan and the French champions are monitoring the situation with interest. Today’s events will be music to the ears of Emery ahead of his big week in the Champions League.
