During the last transfer market window, Manchester United have tried to sign Juventus 27-year-old midfielder Arturo Vidal, but the former Bayer Leverkusen player has finally remained in Turin; now, as reported by Tuttosport, the Red Devils, upset about their poor results, could swoop again on the Chile international: according to the same media, thanks to its new sponsor Adidas, the English club is ready to invest an important amount in January, but it seems difficult that the bianconeri will renounce to Vidal before the end of the season, even if –as outlined by calciomercato.com- thanks to the surprising performances of 23-year-old Roberto Pereyra –who has been called by the Argentine national team’s coach Gerardo Martino for the games against Brazil and Hong Kong- their position could change; the player is actually on loan with right to buy from Udinese, and can be signed on permanent basis by paying a 14-million-euros transfer fee. Vidal’s natural heir remains Paris Saint-Germain 19-year-old Adrien Rabiot, and, according to gianlucadimarzio.com, the Serie A defending champions remain attentive to the situation of the young Frenchman, whose contract is about to expire. The news item was in the air, but now it’s official: Inter Milan have extended until 2017 the contract of their Sports Director Piero Ausilio; now the nerazzurri can focus on renewing the deal of one of their talents, 20-year-old attacking midfielder Mateo Kovacic: the Croatia international will earn about 2 million euros and sign until June 2019.
