    Atletico Madrid line up Monaco star as potential replacement for Man Utd target Griezmann

    Atletico Madrid are considering signing AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar, according to reports from Spain and England. The French winger is impressing with the Ligue1 side having scored seven goals and registered two assists in 20 games in all competitions and the LaLiga giants consider him the perfect replacement for French star Antoine Griezmann who is a top transfer target for Manchester United in the next summer transfer window.

    Atletico Madrid are reported to be willing to offer € 35 million for the 21-year-old winger who made his senior debut with French national team during the last International break.

    The Colchoneros, however, are not planning to invest big money on Griezmann’s compatriot in the January transfer window as the last Champions League runner-ups are not planning to alter the current squad in the January window. Lemar, however, is one of Atletico’s top targets for the 2017 summer transfer window.

    AC Milan and Juventus are also said to be interested in signing the 21-year-old promise.
