Atleti President issues hands-off warning to Simeone admirers
Atletico Madrid President Enrique Cerezo has warned rival clubs not to bother in their attempts to prize away star coach Diego Simeone.
The Argentinian has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s top coaches after leading the Spanish outfit to their second Champions League final in just three years.
A host of European clubs are said to be keeping tabs on Simeone including fomer side Inter where the ex-midfield battler enjoyed a successful spell as a player before moving to capital outfit Lazio.
However, in an interview with TMW, Colchoneros President Enrique Cerezo was keen to ward-off interested parties: “Simeone has another three years on his contract. There is very little to say apart from he will stay with us for a long time.”
