    AS Roma, Francesco Totti still hopeful of extension

    These are very long days for AS Roma captain Francesco Totti. With his contract expiring in the summer, the legendary giallorossi captain is still waiting for the club to make a decision over his contract extension.

    The Serie A side president James Pallotta did not want to extend Totti’s stay at the Olimpico before the latter netted three goals in two games to secure AS Roma vital points in the race to qualify to Champions League.

    “Let’s wait and see”, Totti told to a fan waiting for his idol outside AS Roma training ground Trigoria after today’s training session.

    Will he wear the giallorossi shirt for one more season? Time will say.
