    AS Roma closing in on Zabaleta, deal imminent

    AS Roma are closing in on the signing of Argentinean right-back Pablo Zabaleta. The Man City defender has agreed terms with the giallorossi and an agreement between the two parties is also believed to be very close.

    The Serie A side have offered the player a salary in the region of € 3 million and Manchester City should agree a similar transfer fee. AS Roma will need to pay further three million in commissions, but Pablo Zabaleta to AS Roma can be considered a done deal.
