The reliable sports website’s sources claim that the Gunners want to farm out Chuba Akpom, the young Under-21 star having made just one appearance this season, and in the EFL to boot.
The Canning Town native made his mark at Hull City last season, scoring three times and helping the Yorkshire side return to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs, earning a winner’s medal in the process.
Having injured his back in September, Akpom - who has been compared to Thierry Henry - is recovering well, but is unlikely to feature much for the Gunners this season.
Football League sides Cardiff, Brentford and Fulham are all interested in his services. The England Under-21 star has netted three goals in four caps.
