Arsenal transfer news: Gunners eye Juve target and Bundesliga star
According to a report of the Sun, the Gunners have joined Juventus in race to sign 19-year-old midfielder Franck Kessié, one of the most promising Serie A players at the moment. The Ivorian star has already agreed to move to the J Stadium, but the Old Lady has yet to agree the player’s price-tag with his club and that’s why Arsenal hope to be still in time to steal the talented midfielder from under Juventus’ noses.
Chelsea are also said to be interested in signing the former Cesena man who is playing the first top-flight season in his career. According to reports from Italy, Atalanta have slapped € 25 million price-tag on Kessié who has six goals and two assists in 14 games in all competitions so far this season.
At the same time, the Gunners are also on red alert as Wolfsburg star Julian Draxler wants to leave Wolfsburg and according to a report of the Daily Mirror, the North London club are one of the most interested sides in signing the Bundesliga star.
The German winger joined Wolfsburg in summer 2015 snubbing a move to Juventus, but the Serie A giants are not interested in signing the player anymore, although Arsenal might be facing competition from PSG to sign Draxler in the January window.
