Arsenal to splash the cash in bid to keep Juve, Inter target Alexis Sanchez

Arsenal are ready to splash the cash to extend Alexis Sanchez’s contract extension, Metro reports.

The Chile International’s current deal expires in June 2018 and the former Barcelona star has failed to agree to terms on a new deal with the Gunners despite the two parties being in negotiation talks for very long time.

Sanchez, 27, is a long-time target of Juventus and Inter as both Serie A giants are looking to add depth and quality to their squads, presumably once the season ends as Arsenal are definitely not open to sell the Chilean star in the January transfer window, at any price.

Scorer of ten goals in 18 appearances with Arsenal so far this season (plus eight assists), Alexis is probably Arsenal’s best player so far this season and Arsene Wenger told British media yesterday that he’s planning to invest big money on Alexis’ contract extension.

According to reports from Italy, however, Alexis would be open to return to Seire A after playing for three seasons for Udinese. In case he decides to leave the Emirates, Juventus and Inter would welcome him with open arms.
