Arsenal: Juventus boss Allegri tops Wenger’s replacements shortlist
Allegri is said to be willing to leave the Old Lady in January even if his contract expires in June 2018. Wenger’s Arsenal contract, on the other hand, is set to expire at the end of the current campaign and Arsenal have yet to offer the Frenchman a new deal. Wenger could leave Arsenal at the end of the season after 20 years in charge of the North London club.
Allegri’s manager has reportedly made contact with the Gunners’ executives as the Italian tactician would also like to move to the Premier League after his experience at Juventus and Arsenal would be a perfect destination for him given Wenger’s possible departure.
