    Arsenal, Boro target Subotic allowed to leave training to negotiate transfer

    Arsenal and Middlesbrough have been recently linked with welcoming the services of Neven Subotic. The Borussia Dortmund defender announced on Facebook last month that he will be leaving Borussia Dormtund in the summer and Bundesliga side Cologne are also rumoured to have asked information about the 27-year-old centre-back.

    According to German paper Bild, Subotic was allowed to leave training on Friday to negotiate a transfer away from Dortmund. The paper also claims that Arsenal are now in pole position to sign the former Mainz man who moved to the Westfalenstadion in 2008 in a £ 3.8 million deal.
