Argentinian striker’s agent confirms PSG contact
“Patrick Kluivert [PSG’s director of sport] has contacted me some time ago but there are no concrete offers of PSG yet. They could be a good solution for Alario’s future but we have to see how things develop in January”, the player’s agent has told Foot Mercato.
Alario, 24, is one of the hottest commodities in South America at the moment. The River Plate star has five goals and one assist in 13 appearances with the Argentine club and has been scouted by many European clubs for very long time.
Despite making no official offer yet, reports from France claim that PSG are the most interested club in signing Alario in the January window as the Parc des Princes hierarchy have yet to find a decent back-up to Edinson Cavani who is the only striker at Unai Emery’s disposal apart from product of club’s academy Jean-Kevin Augustin who has been playing a bit role in the French club so far this season.
Inter, on the other hand, are monitoring the situation of Alario, but the Serie A side won’t be allowed to make big investments in the January window to stick to the FFP.
