Are they crazy? Inter turned down €10m for Juan Jesus! (No, they aren't)
Director of sport Walter Sabatini decides to make Inter a big offer for Juan Jesus, whom he had been pursuing for a while: a loan with a compulsory buyback clause worth €10 million.
Were Inter crazy to shoot down the offer? On the surface yes, but in reality they may have made the right decision.
The Corriere della Sera confirms that the Nerazzurri had already sold Andrea Ranocchia to Sampdoria, and would have been shorn of defensive cover if they'd opted to sell Jesus too.
Will they get an equally good offer this summer for his services? There's little doubt they'd take it...
