Anderlecht Director: 'De Maio will join Fiorentina today, his family wanted it'
As the Mauves' director of sport revealed today, the former Grifone is set to join Fiorentina over the coming 24 hours.
"He will sign with Fiorentina today," Herman van Holsbeeck confirmed, "his wife and child didn't want to move to Brussels".
A rather underrated defender, the 29-year-old has been a regular fixture in Genoa's defence for two seasons and, though less impressive in 2015-2016, still fetched a €3 million fee from Anderlecht.
