As CM.com’s Gianluca Minchiotti points out, Allegri will extend his stay in Turin for five main reasons:
- Both him and Juventus want to win the Champions League next season
- The club want to buy more players like Dybala or Alex Sandro, which means talented prospects still not too expensive for Serie A clubs.
- Allegri’s will to deploy mostly Italian players
- Both parties are well aware that a club listed on the national stock exchange can’t refuse offers like the ones they received last year for Coman or Vidal
- A common strategy to vary the team’s system through the acquisition of a top-class offensive midfielder.
