Allegri short of midfielders as Pereyra and Asamoah are ruled out
The Argentina International started against La Dea, but his game was prematurely wrecked by a muscular hassle that caused his substitution early in the first half. The medical that he underwent this morning highlighted a a second-degree muscle strain which will force him out of action for the next 40 days, as the club reported on their official website.
Juventus have also stated that Kwadwo Asamoah, who substituted Pereyra in yesterday’s game, is also suffering a muscle injury which seems to be less serious than his former Udinese team-mate. The 26 year old will take at least 20 days to recover from a first-degree muscle sprain.
Massimiliano Allegri is now scratching his head for filling the gaps left by the injuries of the duo as the Bianconeri will play six games in the upcoming month, included a Champions League showdown against Mancheste City and the two Serie A face-offs against Torino and Milan.
