Allegri 'It's true, Ibra is like Van Basten'
AC Milan coach motivates his team in the run up to the important match against Sampdoria: “On one hand, it’s good that they will be without Cassano, because he’s a great player, but on the other hand it’s worse, because teams without their best players become more compact and those who play give their all. Teams like that are dangerous. So it will be a difficult game even without Cassano.”
Allegri is happy with his team: “When you win and obtain great results it’s difficult to spot flaws, but in certain moments of our games we have to play better. A lot of work needs to be done in order to make these improvements, but fortunately now we’ll have more time to train. We need to improve our offensive manoeuvres in the last 30 metres. As long as we play in a certain way we make the right moves, but then we tend to play the wrong way, thus failing to take advantage of the characteristics of our players. Anyway, I have to say that it’s a problem that rarely emerges and I’m satisfied with how the team is playing.”
On Ronaldinho: “I prefer not to have players who are satisfied when out of the team, also because those coming off the bench need to have the right mentality and have to help their teammates on the field. Dinho did well against Auxerre, as did Boateng and everyone who came off the bench. This makes me satisfied. I haven’t decided yet if Ronaldinho would play tomorrow, but it’s a possibility.”
Allegri concluded talking about Ibrahimovic: "It's true, he's like Van Basten"
