Alessandro Florenzi set for early return from knee injury
Florenzi, 25, picked up an anterior cruciate ligament injury two weeks ago and underwent surgery immediately after. The Italy International has had his stitch removed today and could be eligible to play a competitive game from March.
Some physiotherapist that are monitoring Florenzi’s physical conditions and helping him to get over his injury have talked to Corriere dello Sport confirming that Florenzi could return to action shortly.
“We’ve never seen a football who recovers so quickly from an ACL tear”.
According to reports, Florenzi could return to training with the rest of his teammates by February and play his first competitive game in March.
Florenzi is not the only Serie A player to have picked up an anterior cruciate ligament injury as AC Milan playmaker Riccardo Montolivo and Napoli hit-man Arkadiusz Milik are also out of action with the same injury.
