Albertazzi: 'A year with Getafe. A winning mentality'
Calciomercato.com interviewed exclusively the young talent of Milan Michelangelo Albertazzi, 20, who will play in Spain with Getafe on loan next season:
Why Getafe?
Because they strongly wanted me. They have been following me for a long time, they saw me playing the World Cup Under 20 and the Mediterranean Games. They made an interesting offer and I accepted it immediately. I like Spanish football, young players have a chance to perform there, they always show a winning mentality, and always aim to score goals.
Did any Italian clubs contact you?
Perhaps Bari or Novara, but there was nothing concrete. I am going one year to Spain. I want to come back stronger and be a protagonist at Milan.
How do you feel when you think you'll play against Messi and Ronaldo?
I am very much focused and motivated for this new adventure at Getafe. It will be fantastic, but I want to keep my feet on the ground. I am going to Madrid to improve.
I'll have a medical check on the 4th of July, then I will be officially presented and meet my new teammates.
Did you know that the young players of Real Madrid often play with Getafe?
No, I didn't know it. This confirms that the club is very serious. I only think of doing well.
