AGRESTI: 16 targets for the Serie A top teams
The bianconeri absolutely need to reinforce their midfield; Pjanic is the only top player for what concerns such position, and to be competitive in the Champions League, the Serie A champions will have to do something. A player that the Piedmont’s club can quite easily afford is Zenit St. Petersburg 28-year-old Axel Witsel. However, Juve is also tracking some young forwards like Gabigol and could even sign a winger like Cuadrado. Napoli need at least three players: a midfielder, a right back and a center back. The new midfielder will probably be the 21-year-old Marko Rog. Regarding the team’s flank, the azzurri want De Sciglio, but it will be extremely difficult to convince both the 24-year-old and AC Milan. The center back could be Torino 24-year-old Nikola Maksimovic.
AS Roma are about to carry out the negotiation for Bruno Peres: thanks to the Brazilian right back, Alessandro Florenzi will be able to play in a more advanced position. However, if they will qualify for the Champions League, the giallorossi could sign another midfielder, like Fiorentina 31-year-old Borja Valero. Inter Milan’s main target for the current transfer window is Sporting CP midfielder Joao Mario, but the Suning group want to surprise the nerazzurri’s fans with a great strike, like Gabigol or –eventually- Carlos Tevez.
Fiorentina have kept their best players and signed some interesting youngsters. However, the viola absolutely need a new center back, and the alternative to Vedran Corluka –who could extend with Lokomotiv- could be Sebastien De Maio.
Sassuolo need a high rated striker, and Alessandro Matri could be the right man. Moreover, the neroverdi will try to sign a talented attacking midfielder like Riccardo Saponara or Alejandro Gomez. Ac Milan are still keen on Boca Juniors midfielder Rodrigo Betancur, but as the negotiation is getting complicated, the rossoneri could swoop again for Besiktas 31-year-old Jose Ernesto Sosa. The Lombard team also needs a new center back.
Lazio are still seeking a winger to replace Antonio Candreva, but after failing in the attempt to sign Florian Thauvin, now they could also miss their chance to buy Ntep.
