Agent: "If Milan call Valdifiori, he'll be ready!"

Could Mirko Valdifiori be heading to Milan? His agent, Mario Giuffredi, certainly seems to think so, making some very frank declarations to ilmilanista.it.

Asked about his client's future, and a potential move to Milan, Giuffredi said that "The rumoured swap with Andrea Poli is science fiction, but if Milan were to call us, we'd be ready. Mirko is happy in Naples and Milan is a great club, it's the kind of shirt anyone would love to wear".

It's not been a happy season for Valdifiori, who has been a little big like former Empoli team-mate Daniele Rugani. Following Coach Maurizio Sarri to the San Paolo, he quickly lost his place to Jorginho, looking like a fish out of water in the Partenopei's elite midfield.

He's since had very few chances to shine, mainly in the Europa League, where has been good, but not great. Now that the Azzurri have been booted out of Europe, however, Valdifiori has few chances to show his talent... and this could push him towards the exit.

And why not Milan? Berlusconi wants an all-Italian team, and the Rossoneri have few cerebral players in the middle, except for Riccardo Montolivo (Bonaventura plays on the wing).

Having already chased him in the last transfer window, will Milan be able to land Valdifiori this summer?
