Agent: 'Fiorentina's offer for Giaccherini was too low'
"I offered my client to just one club, and that was Fiorentina," Furio Valcareggi told LadyRadio, "and that's because I have a special relationship with director of sport Panteleo Corvino".
"The Viola's offer was low, however, maybe they didn't want Emanuele that much, and that's a real pity."
Valcareggi then admitted that he effectively participated in jilting Torino, who were very interested in the former Juventus utility man.
"We didn't behave well with Torino, but Napoli's offer just swept the competition aside".
