Acerbi and Darmian on Inter radars as Suning want a made in Italy defence
No secret that Inter new owners want to build an Italian block that can help the team to develop its proper identity and the nerazzurri have already set sights on two Italian targets that could be signed in the January transfer window.
As we reported earlier this morning, Inter are interested in Man Utd outcast Matteo Darmian who wants to move to Inter in the winter transfer window.
Darmian, however, is not the only Italian target on Inter’s agenda as Sassuolo centre-back Francesco Acerbi is also being closely monitored by representatives of the Serie A giants.
Inter had already attempted to sign Acerbi last summer in a player-swap deal involving Andrea Ranocchia.
The two parties failed to find agreement at the time, but Inter are going to make a new attempt in the January window. Inter are also interested in signing Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi, but they are not going to enter transfer talks for the Italian winger in the January window, postponing the assault on the most talented Italian prospect to the end of the campaign.
