AC Milan: Which future for Jack Bonaventura?

AC Milan: Which future for Jack Bonaventura?

AC Milan are beginning a new project with Vincezo Montella on their bench and a new Chinese ownership which will probably complete the club’s takeover over the next few weeks.

Montella is going to adapt a 4-3-1-2 system and AC Milan have shortlisted some players who could be perfect for the role of offensive midfielder (Vazquez, Saponara, Pjaca). What About Giacomo ‘Jack’ Bonaventura?

The Italian midfielder gave his best when playing as left winger under Sinisa Mihajlovic last season and when the Serbian boss deployed a 4-3-1-2 system he never adapted to the roles of halfback and offensive midfielder.

That’s why, today, the future of Bonaventura is up in the air, not to mention that the former Atalanta man has yet to find agreement with the club over a contract extension.

The midfielder’s agent Mino Raiola is currently negotiating moves for most of his clients around Europe and Bonaventura could be another player swapping club in the summer.
