AC Milan target Zielinski to undergo Napoli medical tomorrow

Piotr Zielinski has finally found a new team. The Poland International impressed during his loan spell at Empoli last term, attracting the interest of Liverpool and AC Milan. Jurgen Klopp had been negotiating with the player for several weeks before the end of last season, whilst AC Milan had agreement with both Udinese and the player, but could not close the deal due to lack of money available due to the club’s takeover which should be completed by a Chinese consortium.

The Poland International will move to Napoli in a € 15 million deal plus Zuniga (who has moved to Watford, which is also owned by the Pozzo family). According to Radio CRC, Zielinski will undergo medical in Rome’s Villa Stuart tomorrow ahead of signing a five-year deal.

Zielinski is not the only player close to joining Napoli. The partenopei are negotiating with Dinamo Zagreb for promising centre-back Marko Rog who scored yesterday night in Dinamo Zagreb’s Champions League play off clash against Dinamo Tbilisi.

Napoli have already reached agreement with the 21-year-old defender, the agreement with the club should be reached next week also for € 15 million.
