As reported yesterday, after signing 28 year old midfielder Walter Gargano, Inter Milan have renounced to Manchester City 27 year old Nigel De Jong, with city rivals AC Milan that could now sign the Holland national. According to The Sun, the player has told his club’s executives that Italy is his favourite destination. The rossoneri don’t seem to have lost the hope to sign Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa, but will make an attempt for the 23 year old only if Philippe Mexes will leave. Regarding the offensive line, the Lombard club, after failing in signing Genoa 24 year old Ze Eduardo, could make a new attempt, according to Sky Sport 24, for Juventus 28 year old Alessandro Matri, although the Serie A champs don’t seem intentionned to let the player leave on loan, as required by the rossoneri.

 

The future of Inter Milan 30 year old right back Maicon remains uncertain, but if the Brazil national would finally remain, the nerazzurri could decide to yield 26 year old Jonathan Cicero Moreira, and in that case, as reported by Sky Sport transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli would have the priority for the former Santos player. Still regarding the defense, the Lombard club could make an attempt in the last days of the transfer market for Chievo 26 year old Marco Andreolli, expecially if 21 year old Juan Jesus will be loaned to Bologna.
