Milan news: Nesta 'Mihajlovic not the problem'
Nesta spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport yesterday to give his view on his former club’s struggles.
“The manager isn't the problem”, Nesta told La Rosea.
“The club keeps changing coach every year, but the results are always the same. Mihajlovic is the right person, he knows how to make his job and I hope he won’t be sacked.”
“They need to change mentality. If they have less money than they used to, they need to invest it in scouting to seek young and talented players, developing their scouting network.
“They need to find the best players before all other teams.”
“I hope Paolo Maldini will be hired soon. It is still a bit too early for me. I still have a long way to go and there is a long queue to become Milan’s boss.”
“Milan can still battle it out for a Champions League placement, the team is not too bad.”
