AC Milan give a last chance to Cerci

As already explained, in the Summer of 2014, the talented winger Alessio Cerci –by that time at Torino- was a target for AC Milan, but finally the former Fiorentina player joined La Liga side Atletico Madrid; the Italy international never got used to the new ambiance, and six months later was loaned to the rossoneri themselves, as part of a swap involving the former Chelsea striker Fernando Torres. Cerci was required by Filippo Inzaghi, while with the current head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic he didn’t get many chances to play. Next Saturday, against the granata themselves, the Serb could decide to recover the 4-3-3, so that the 28-year-old could have a new chance. As outlined by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Cerci’s contract will expire at the end of the current season, when he should rejoin the Colchoneros, but –also considering the excellent relations between the two parties- if he would get back to his standards, his stay at “San Siro” could become a concrete option.
