AC Milan: eyes on Doria. Inter: Richards farther
As reported yesterday, Adriano Galliani will keep his position of AC Milan Chief Executive: but, as highlighted by calciomercato.com, the battle between the 69 year old and Barbara Berlusconi, is not over yet: the daughter of the club’s owner has been in fact forced to accept his father’s decision, but will keep on working to rebuild the club’s technical area, with Paolo Maldini that remains a candidate for the position of Technical Director. In any case, the rossoneri will probably have to change their first team’s coach, and one of their target is their former midfielder Clarence Seedorf, actually playing for Botafogo: the Dutchman has demonstrated to admire his former teammate Matheus Doria Macedo, aka Doria, and the Lombard club’s scout Serginho has been recently observing the 19 year old center back; this latter doesn’t have an E.U. passport yet, so, considering the arrival of Keisuke Honda, could be signed in January only if Milan will succeed in selling abroad a non-EU citizen during the same transfer window.
The rossoneri, as well as Napoli and city rivals Inter Milan, are interested in Manchester City defender Micah Richards, but, interviewed by calcionews24.it, Dario Canovi, agent of the England international, has declared that there have been no recent contacts regarding his client.
