FOCUS: AC Milan back for Caceres as Musacchio won't join
As reported earlier today, AC Milan Chief Executive Adriano Galliani’s last attempt for Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio has failed. As the Chinese investors have not yet carried out the negotiation for the acquiring of the Lombard club’s majority stake, and awaiting to sell one between De Sciglio and Bacca, the rossoneri could only ask for the player on loan with right to buy, and the Spanish club refused.
Such situation will affect the whole Milan’s transfer campaign, so –to reinforce their team’s defensive line- the rossoneri will have to sign a free agent, like the 29-year-old Martin Caceres, whose contract with Juventus has recently expired.
