Abbiati: 'Milan sold the right players this summer. Last year, a lot of players were not professional '

Christian Abbiati (ex-Milan goalkeeper) spoke about Milan to 7Gold, here is what he had to say: "It is not the name behind the jersey that counts but it is the logo in the front of the jersey that is important, this is how players should think. Last year there were many players who caused trouble and that weren't professional in the way that they acted. The management did well to sell off some of these bad characters this summer. Even if I did not play much, I always trained hard and respected the coaches decision but not everyone did this. Last year, players who did not play much would not train well or they would start internal fights within the locker room. This wasn't good for the group, the locker room nor for Milan since the team wasn't cohesive. I did not see such things at Milan in a long time and I am happy that the management addressed the situation quickly ...".
