Inter’s priority in the January transfer window is to sign a central midfielder who can add some creativity to Roberto Mancini’s midfield.

As widely known, former Manchester City boss wanted to sign Pirlo just a couple of months ago but the Maestro rejected Mancini’s offer.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri want to sign Marseille’s experienced midfielder Lassana Diarra. Former Chelsea man could be the right player to strengthen Inter’s midfield.

According to the Italian paper, it shouldn’t be difficult to convince the 30-year-old to sign with the club, though it won’t be easy to find economic agreement with his club.

Inter have also set sights on three interesting 18-year-old prospects: Guilherme Arana, Andrija Balic e Nikola Vlasic

The first one is a very talented left-back playing for Corinthians. Inter are not interested to sign him straight away, but they would like to get an option to buy the player in the future.
As far as Balic and Vlasic are concerned, Inter could offer Frosinone flop Samuele Longo in exchange of another option to buy one of the two players in the future. Longo, a product of the Nerazzurri Academy, has also been linked with Serie A side Crotone.
