REPORT: Napoli eye Sampdoria wingback De Silvestri

At the end of the current season, the 34-year-old right back Christian Maggio will leave Napoli, where he has spent the last eight years of his career and became a cornerstone for the Italian national team too. To replace the former Fiorentina man, the azzurri –according to Premium Sport- are thinking about Sampdoria 28-year-old Lorenzo De Silvestri.

The former Lazio man, who has recently recovered from a knee-injury, has extended last summer his deal with the blucerchiati until June 2019.
