Manchester United sacked Jose Mourinho earlier today, days after their 3-1 loss to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League. The defeat left them sixth in the league, 11 points adrift of the top four.

But with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer close to taking charge of the club as the caretaker manager on a permanent basis, they could be sorted till the end of the season but they will soon have to appoint a permanent boss when the summer approaches.
