AC Milan are said to be targeting Diego Godin to reinforce the defence. According to Quotidano Sportiva, the Rossoneri offered the Uruguayan centre-back a contract for two and a half years worth 4 million euros per season. According to the same source, Godin accepted this proposal for a January move and now Leonardo will have to convince the Spanish team to give up their captain already in the winter transfer session, with Godin's contract expiring in June next year.
