Ronaldo out of Ballon d'Or top 3: De Sciglio reveals the reaction of CR7

Juventus full-back Mattia de Sciglio believes that his bianconeri teammate Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to win the Ballon D’or. Reports have stated that neither of Messi or Ronaldo are in the top three list for the Ballon D’or, with three out of Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann, Raphael Varane and Luka Modric likely to make the top three.

Ronaldo’s teammate De Sciglio was recently talking to Sky Sports and he was insistent on the fact that the Portuguese superstar deserves to win the Ballon D’or and he is surprised that he isn’t going to make the top three.

He said: "Out of the Golden Ball podium? I do not know what to say, I do not have to answer, the only thing I can say is that yesterday when I came back to the Continassa, I saw a Cristiano on the pitch. “He trained as he does every day, as a true professional, giving the maximum.”
