Overmars sends message to Juve and Tottenham over Van De Beek and reveals Ten Hag talks

Ajax director of football Marc Overmars has released an interview with De Telegraaf about several top players wanted all over around Europe. One of them is Donny Van De Beek, the talented midfielder linked with a move to Juventus and Tottenham: "He has really improved as a footballer and we don't want to lose him", Overmars said.

"He has been improving and we want to reward him for this".

As for Ten Hag, who has been linked with Barcelona and Chelsea, Overmars said: "We are in talks to offer him a new deal. Ziyech has also attracted the interest of many top clubs. He will leave if we are going to receive a good offer".

Ziyech was a transfer target of Roma last summer but the Giallorossi failed to reach an agreement with the Dutch club that reached the Champions League semi-final this season and came one step away from qualifying for the final.

Ajax star Frankie De Jong has already reached an agreement to join Barcelona while Matthijs de Ligt will leave the club although the 19-year-old has yet not chosen his next destination.
