Napoli lawyer blasts Serie A and confirms appeal against Koulibaly-Insigne suspensions
"We will probably appeal against the two-match bans for Insigne and Koulibaly," he said.
"The regulation is clear: the game should have been suspended, as also stated by the federal prosecutor Pecoraro and should have been suspended as per regulation, which was partly not applied, as well as common sense by Mazzoleni.
"Although the chants were clear, the match continued, but an interruption would have been a strong signal. If measures had already been taken in the first half, perhaps those fools would not have continued and Koulibaly would not have asked for a suspension.
"I think the credibility of Serie A has been undermined and a bad image of our football has been given, stadiums cannot be considered places where people go to have fun," he concluded.
