Marseille bring forward €20 for Milan striker
According to Tuttosport, Marseille are closer to Milan striker Carlos Bacca and are ready to offer 20 million EUR. The Colombian striker is no longer considered by the Rossoneri in their future plans, and he looks to be on his way out of the San Siro. Reports in recent weeks have suggested a move to the Premier League via Everton, but the Toffees have just confirmed Wayne Rooney and will likely no longer be interested in the former Sevilla forward.
If the reports hold true, this could be the end of a relationship between Bacca and Milan, as the Rossoneri would be satisfied with an offer in the range of Marseille’s offer. With a totally restructured squad and a preseason fast approaching, Milan’s headquarters will be anxiously awaiting a new fresh start with a revitalized energy. Marseille, meanwhile are one of the few clubs that can boast as active of a transfer market as Milan. Both clubs are ambitiously building for a push towards Champions League football and a continued challenge domestically.
