Manchester United: Mourinho identifies alternative for Inter star in January
Manchester United will reportedly be looking for a new defender come January as José Mourinho has his eyes on many different players. The Red Devils tried to sign a new defender back in late August but they finally didn't do so. This now seems to be their top priority for January as José Mourinho would like to sign a young defender who can grow within his team. As the Daily Record stated, it seems like the Red Devils have their eyes on Eder Militao of Porto (born in 1998). José Mourinho also had his eyes on Inter Milan's Milan Skriniar and AC Milan's Alessio Romagnoli but Militao is an easier target for January. Time will tell as Porto would certainly want a pretty hefty chunk of money for him...
Man United are currently 7th in the EPL standings but they have been doing better in the UCL as they just recently qualified for the UCL round of 16. More to come on the matter right here on Calciomercato.com.
