Juventus on alert as Real Madrid prepare De Ligt offer

Serie A giants Juventus have been alerted in their chase for Matthijs de Ligt, as Real Madrid are reportedly preparing an offer of 70 million euros for the Dutch defender.

De Ligt was part of the Ajax side that knocked Real Madrid out of the UEFA Champions League, handing them a 4-1 loss at the Santiago Bernabeu in the second leg of the competition.

Sport in Spain state that Real are looking to fend off competition from Barcelona and Juventus by looking to offer the 75 million euros offer. This could make them the leaders in the chasing pack for the Netherlands international.
