Juve's strategy to sign Kylian Mbappe

Juve's strategy to sign Kylian Mbappe

According to what has been reported by Tuttosport today, Juventus do not give up on Paris Saint-Germain's French wonderkid Kylian Mbappe, as they seek to continue their strong transfer form - after completing a €110m move for Cristiano Ronaldo in July 2018, much to the amazement and shock of football fans around the world.

The operation for Mbappe is a complex one and first starts with the cost of the transfer itself, at a minimum of €210m - due to the Frenchman's age and ability. Juventus director Paratici described the plan for Mbappe as a "fanciful hypothesis" last nigt, yet the plot to sign Ronaldo started with a similar spark.

Mbappe would likely then demand at least €20m a year; less than what Ronaldo earns in Bianconeri but that is due to the fact that the commercial value of the Portuguese forward is much higher and therefore brought more to the 'branding' of the Bianconeri. However, on the flip side, Mbappe has much more room for growth and is already considered one of the best players in the world, at such a young age. Mbappe won the World Cup with France in Russia in the summer, playing a key part as Deschamps' side lifted the trophy against Croatia in the final.
