Chelsea news: Lazio consider move for Chelsea outcast

According to what has been reported by today’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, Lazio have identified Chelsea right-back Davide Zappacosta as a potential addition for their squad.

Zappacosta joined Chelsea when Antonio Conte was the manager and, despite a relatively decent first season, has fallen out of favour and featured very little under the management of former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.

Therefore, Lazio are looking at the right-back as they continue their search for full-backs. Currently, it is thought that the Biancocelesti are weighing up a move for either Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian or, indeed, Chelsea’s Zappacosta.
