Benzema admits he feels freer without Ronaldo

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is in the form of his life. The Frenchman has been scoring with consistency without CR7 playing close to him and Benzema admitted to be freer without Ronaldo: "Before I only used to play for Cristiano. I always tried to help him score as much goals as possible. Now I am free to play my football", he told L'Equipe.

Benzema has already scored 20 goals in 40 appearances so far this season. In the last two campaigns with CR7 he managed 12 goals in 47 appearances (2017/18) and 19 in 48 appearances (16/17).
