Arsenal 'ready to pay' Monchi clause

Arsenal are reportedly ready to pay the release clause of Roma Sporting Director Monchi, Leggo reports. The Spanish director is a long time target of the Gunners who are now coached by Unai Amery, a close friend of Monchi as well as Sevilla's coach when Monchi was the Director of football of the Spanish club.

Monchi has a € 3 million clause that Arsenal are determined to pay at the end of the season. Roma would reportedly replace him with the likes of Massara, Balzaretti or Faggiano.
