AC Milan star Castillejo: 'Suso doesn't take away my position, I'm waiting for my chance'
The Spaniard was signed by the rossoneri this past summer as Carlos Bacca had left to join the Yellow Submarines. So far this season, the 23-year-old has appeared in 13 Serie A games, out of which only 2 have been starts. He has scored just once, but he assisted twice in the Europa League.
Castillejo was recently talking to Sportmediaset and he was asked about his position and if his original position is being taken away from Suso. He said: "I played three years on the right, but it's good on the left or as the second striker.
"The important thing is to help the team and get the best results, I'm waiting for my chance. Suso takes away space? No no, he's a great player, normally there is quality competition in a team like this . "
Currently fourth in the Serie A, AC Milan play Fiorentina on Saturday afternoon, with an eye on closing the gap on third placed Inter Milan.
