ROMANO EXCLUSIVE Juventus met Manolas's agent this summer

We can exclusively reveal that Roma star Kostas Manolas’ agent met with Juventus early this summer. The Greek international had long been appreciated by the Bianconeri, who wanted to see if some sort of a deal was possible, something that was blocked once Miralem Pjanic moved to Turin.

Juventus could opt to try again for the former AEK man this summer, but Roma wouldn’t want Manolas leaving, even more so to a rival. But will he accept his release clause being valid only for foreign clubs? And how are talks going on a new deal?

Walter Sabatini’s departure has slowed things down, and both sides’ positions haven’t changed: Manolas wants to go from earning €1.5 million to €3m with bonuses, while the Lupa is only offering €2.5m.

    Will Juve’s interest swing things?
