The central midfielder of Portugal, Pedro Mendes, could soon leave his country for Italy. Napoli and Bologna are interested.

As learned by calciomercato.com, Bologna tried to acquire him at the beginning of the season, but there was no deal. Now they are interested again, but have to beat the competition from Napoli, who see the player as an alternative to Inler or Sissoko.

Pedro Mendes, 31, has played with Tottenham and Portsmouth. His cost would be about 2 million euro. The deal is feasible and not too expensive to acquire an experienced player.
